WILLIAM V. POPOVICH, 100, of ELMWOOD PARK died Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Born in Passaic, NJ, Mr. Popovich resided in Elmwood Park for over 60 years, moving to Goshen, NY four years ago.

He had been employed at Becton Dickinson Co. of Fairlawn for fifteen years. Previously, he was employed at Tube Reducing Co. of Garfield where he worked for 40 years. Mr. Popovich was a member of the Ironworkers Union and was a beloved Little League Coach in Monroe- Woodbury, NY.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Lillian Popek; his two brothers, John and Michael Popovich and his two sisters, Anne and Mary.

Survivors include: his daughter, Linda Fienga and her husband, Joseph of Goshen, NY and his grandson, Joseph Fienga.

Visitation will be from 2-3 pm Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Private Cremation to follow.
