ROBERT T. VONGAS, 66, of Passaic died Monday, January 2, 2023.

Born in Passaic, he resided in Clifton for most of his life. He retired as a warehouseman for Richelieu Co. of Lincoln Park, NJ where he was employed for 25 years. A very patriotic man, he enjoyed fishing, cars, and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Edna Mae (nee Kling) Vongas.

Survivors include: his wife, the former Barbara Salkin; his two daughters, Jamie Vongas of Clifton and Jessica Wilks and her husband, Bryan of Roxbury; his step son, Richard Barone of Bloomfield; his sister, Barbara Begyn of Pompton Plains; his two brothers, John Vongas of Florida and George Vongas of Mendham; his five grandchildren, Mariah Martinez, Madison and  Richard Barone, Shane and Dylan Wilks and his great granddaughter, Rae Quelix.

A Memorial Gathering will take place from 2-4 pm Friday, January 6, 2023 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the American Lung Association, PO Box 756, Osceola, WI 54020-0756.
