Patricia E. Csirip

PATRICIA E. (nee De Blieck) CSIRIP, 87, died Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Born in Paterson to Charles and Agnes (nee Owens) De Blieck, Mrs. Csirip resided in Clifton for most of her life, moving to Lecanto, Florida for about eight years, returning to New Jersey and settling in Vernon before moving to Warwick, NY. Before her retirement, Mrs. Csirip was employed at the former Grand Union Store in Clifton. She was known in the neighborhood for her active involvement in the P.T.A, serving several years as President and her work on the Passaic County Board of elections.

She was a parishioner of Most Holy Name of Jesus SNC Cathedral of Passaic and St. Frances De Sales RC Church of Vernon. She was a member of the XYZ Club of St. Francis the Leisure Club of Vernon. Everywhere she went, her stories and compassion always led to endearing friendships. For the past few years, Mrs.Csirip has resided at Merwick Rehabilitation & Care Center in Plainsboro, NJ, where she leaves behind friends, nurses and caregivers who miss her dearly.

She was predeceased by her husband, Victor S. Csirip, Jr., in 1996; by her son, Rev. Charles J. Csirip, in 2012; by her brother, Charles De Blieck and by her sister, Gladys Hessler.

Survivors include: her daughter, Sue Ann Mankiw and her husband, Al of Vernon, NJ; her son, Victor S. Csirip, III and his wife, Susan of Mansfield Township, NJ; her sister, Mary Struck of North Haledon, NJ; her nieces and nephews, Joe Hessler, Andy Hessler, Pat Rizzo, Joanne Hessler, Denise Marabello, and Cheryl Vitale and her four grandchildren, Colin and Sean Mankiw, Ashley Rafferty and Victor Csirip, IV.

Private Funeral Services were held at the convenience of the family under the supervision of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton, NJ.
