MICHAEL BZIK, 71, of HACKENSACK died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Born in Passaic,  NJ, Mr. Bzik resided in Garfield  and Elmwood Park before moving to Hackensack. He was employed as a Store Manager in various Pathmark Food Stores for 46 years. He had been a member of the Pathmark Bowling League and was a standard bred racehorse owner and was known as an outstanding chef at home.

He was a member, choir member and longtime trustee of St. John ‘s RO Church, Passaic.

Mr. Bzik is survived by his two children, Christopher  Bzik and his wife, Jennifer of Phillipsburg, NJ and Joanna Luzzo and her husband, Michael of Jacksonville, FL; his brother, John W. Bzik and his wife, Maria and his two grandchildren, Nicholas and Lydia Bzik.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm Friday with a 7:00 pm Panachida at Bizub-Quinlan funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Funeral will be 9:30 am Saturday from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. John RO Church, 170 Lexington Ave., Passaic. Interment o follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
