Mary M. Vilchock

MARY M. (nee Hoover) VILCHOCK, 77, of Lyndhurst, NJ died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020.

Born in Duryea, Pa. Mrs. Vilchock moved to New Jersey in 1968 settling in Lyndhurst in 1982. She retired as a dietary aide with St. Mary’s Hospital of Passaic, NJ where she worked for over 31 years.

Mrs. Vilchock was a member of St. Michael’s Cathedral, Passaic and was a member of the Greek Catholic Union.

She is survived by her husband, John M. Vilchock; her children, Julie Vilchock Darby and her husband, Robert of North Plainfield, NJ and Alan M. Vilchock and his wife, Liz of Sparta, NJ; her two sisters, Anna Szewczyk of Dayton, OH and Veronica Kobal of Ransom, Pa.; her brother, Michael Hoover of W. Pittston, Pa; multiple nieces and nephews and her two canine companions, Brewski and Cookie.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Funeral will be on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at 9:15 am at the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Michael’s Cathedral, 96 First Street, Passaic. Private Cremation to follow.
