LESLAW WOLWOWICZ, 64, of Clifton died Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Born in Poland, he came to the United States in 1989. He worked in a machine shop in Lodi for 15 years, worked for Bartek Construction of Mountain Lakes for 14 years and then as a production worker in Rahway for seven years.
He was a longtime parishioner of Ss. Cyril and Methodius RC Church of Clifton where he would often collect the weekly offertory during Sunday Mass.
Leslaw was predeceased by his father, Mieczyslaw Wolwowicz.
He is survived by his wife, the former Josepha Galik; his two daughters, Joann Lami and her husband Steven of Columbus, OH and Christine Wolwowicz of Leonia, NJ; his two cherished granddaughters, Eliza and Agnes Lami; his mother, Janina (Milczanowska) Wolwowicz of Poland; and his three siblings, Andrzej Wolwowicz and his wife Beata, Ryszard Wolwowicz and his wife, Agata and Danuta Tokarski and her husband, Marian, all of Poland.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Avenue, Clifton. Funeral will be 9:30 am Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 from the funeral home and 10:00 am at Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, 286 Ackerman Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s RC Cemetery, Saddle Brook. (There will not be any services on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025)
