Katharine (Lelo) Popowycz

Katharine (nee Lelo) Popowycz, 98, of Middle Village, NY died Friday, December 23, 2022.

Born in Poland, Mrs. Popowycz came to the United States in 1959 settling first in New York City. She resided in Clifton before moving to Middle Village, Queens, NY about ten years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, John on June 27, 2002.

Survivors include: her niece, Irena Bochynski and her husband, Robert and their family of Middle Village, NY and her sister, Paraskiewia Wojnik of Poland.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Funeral will be 10:30 am Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from the funeral home and 11:00 am at St. Nicholas UC Church, 217 President St., Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
