Juan N. Torrez

Juan N. Torrez, 71, of Paterson died Saturday at. St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson.

Born in Dominican Republic, Mr. Torrez came to the United States in 2007 settling in Paterson and residing there since. He was employed in the agriculture industry in the Dominican Republic. He loved to play dominos and he was an animal lover.

Mr. Torrez was predeceased by his mother, Maria Idelia Fernandez, many years ago.

He is survived by his four children, Jacqueline Rodriguez of Clifton, Yesenia Bencosme of Clifton, Francisco Torrez of Paterson and Zuleika Perez of Paterson; his father, Adolfo Torrez of Dominican Republic; his sister, Maria Idalia Torrez of Dominican Republic; and his 10 grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020 at St. Paul RC Church, cor. Union Ave. and Second Street, Clifton. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton is in charge of arrangements.
