Joseph J. Rabakozi, Jr.

JOSEPH J. RABAKOZI, JR., 84, formerly of Clifton, died Monday, October 14, 2024.

Born in Clifton, Mr. Rabakozi resided there for most of his life before moving to Manahawkin in 2007. He was employed as a Letter Carrier with the Clifton Post Office, Allwood Branch, for over 60 years. After retirement, Mr. Rabakozi served as a Crossing Guard for the City of Clifton. He enjoyed an avid interest in exercise and fitness. He was also a fan of the NY Mets, NY Jets and Frank Sinatra

A Veteran of the US Army from 1959-1962, he was a parishioner of St. John’s RO Church, Passaic.

Mr. Rabakozi was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Ann Chanda in 2021 and by his parents, Joseph and Catherine (nee Popielarz) Rabakozi.

Survivors include: his daughter, Holly Ann Taylor and her husband, John of Pequannock and his two grandchildren, Lucas Taylor and Kayla Taylor and her fiancé, Justin Hill.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Avenue, Clifton. Funeral will be 10AM Friday, October 18, 2024 at the funeral home followed by interment at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
