JOHN F. ORLOVSKY, 77, of CLIFTON died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.
Born in Passaic, NJ, Mr. Orlovsky was a lifelong Clifton resident. He worked side by side with his brother Dennis at Orlovsky Brothers Auto Repair on Lakeview Avenue in Clifton. He was a Veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat. He was an avid weightlifter and enjoyed following sports, especially rooting for the NY Yankees.
He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Anna (nee Risko) Orlovsky.
Survivors include: his brother, Dennis P. Orlovsky and his wife, Barbara of Clifton; his two sisters, Paula Orlovsky and her husband, Tom Brunson of Woodland Park and Ruth Glita and her husband, Peter of Clifton; his nephew, Scott Orlovsky and his wife, Laurie; his niece, Dr. Kristin Pannorfi and her husband, Thomas; his great niece, Lucia and great nephew, Leo.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Private Cremation will follow and his Ashes will be inurned at a future time at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
