A lifetime New Jerseyan, Mrs. Wolosz was born in Passaic, grew up in Saddle Brook, and moved to Garfield after her marriage to Anthony Wolosz. They lived there for most of their life together. More recently, Carol lived in Rochelle Park before relocating to The Bristal of Waldwick three years ago.
During her life, Carol was a loyal parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Saddle Brook. Her free time was spent enjoying Hallmark movies, chatting with friends and relatives, and, of course, vacationing down at the Jersey Shore. She grew strawberries in her garden, kept a fully-stocked cookie jar, and had a penchant for provoking laughter in others with her unconventional turns of phrase.
Mrs. Wolosz was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Wolosz, in 2011, and by her parents, Myles and Mary (nee Weber) Faber.
She is remembered by her two sons, John M. Wolosz and his wife, Ann France of Park Ridge, and Anthony M. Wolosz and his wife, Jacqueline of Midland Park; her brother, Myles Faber and his wife, Joanne of Saddle Brook; and her three grandchildren, Amanda, Myles, and Vanessa Wolosz.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, January 3, 2024 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. The funeral will be 9:45 am Saturday from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack.
