Barbara Ann Dubansky, 78, of Clifton died on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
A lifelong resident of Clifton, Barbara will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family: Cousins Sherry Hempstead (James), Carolyn Witte (Donald), Dennis Kovatch (Beverly), and their children. She is also survived by her cousin, Ted Cherub, as well as friendships throughout the years. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Gizella (nee Kovatch) Dubansky. Family was particularly important to Barbara, and she enjoyed sharing many family events with them. She retired from JC Penney and also worked at Electroscan. In the past, she was also a member of the Rosary Society at Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church in Clifton.
Visitation will be 9-10:30 am Monday at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart RC Church, corner of Clifton and Randolph Aves., Clifton. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Giving a home to many cats throughout the years, Barbara is also survived by “Snowball.” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804 or a charity of your choice.
