Barbara A. (Salkin) Vongas

BARBARA A. (nee Salkin) VONGAS, 77 of Passaic died Good Friday, April 18, 2025.

Born in Passaic,  She resided most of her life in the Passaic- Clifton area. She was a cashier for over 40 years with A&P Stores in the Northern New Jersey area. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert T. Vongas in 2023; and by her parents, Robert and Beatrice (nee Quadrio) Salkin.

Survivors include: her three children, Jessica Wilks of Ledgewood, NJ, Jamie Vongas of Clifton, NJ and Richard Barone of Manville, NJ; her two sisters, Jane Salkin of Passaic, NJ and Susan Unger of Montville, NJ; her brother, Ronald Salkin of Passaic, NJ; her five grandchildren, Mariah Martinez, Madison and Richard Barone III, Shane and Dylan Wilks and her great granddaughter, Rae Quelix.

Her friendships encompassed all aspects of life, and each was special to her. From phone call chats to family outings and parties. 

Barbara was up for it All.  

Private Services were held at the request of the family under the supervision of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton.
