Andrew Erli

Andrew Erli, 69, of Elmwood Park died Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack.

Born in Romania, he emigrated to the United States in 1970, settling first in Passaic, before moving to Clifton, He then lived in Sandyston before moving to Elmwood Park nine years ago. Mr. Erli He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity RC Church, Passaic.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Donna Piacenza in 2016; by his father, Joseph Erli, in 2010 and by his brother, John Erli, in 2018.

Survivors include his mother, the former Maria Bran; his sister, Martha Anevski of Elmwood Park and her three sons, Joey and his fiancé, Janette, Timothy and his fiancé, Daryen and Ryan Anevski; and his great niece and nephew, Ariel and J.J.

Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Avenue, Clifton, NJ. Funeral will be 9:30 am Wednesday from the funeral home and 10:00 am at Holy Trinity RC Church, cor. Hope and Harrison Aves., Passaic. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
