Bernard A. Johnson

BERNARD ALLEN JOHNSON, JR., 74, of Lodi died Friday, April 29, 2022.

Born in Passaic, NJ, Mr. Johnson resided there before moving to Wallington and then to Lodi in 1993, Mr. Johnson retired as an Accountant with Keyspan Energy Co. More recently he was employed at Stop N Shop in Lyndhurst.

Mr. Johnson was a parishioner of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Wood Ridge. Previously he was a parishioner of St. Mary the Assumption RC Church, Passaic where he served as an Usher. Mr. Johnson was a Lionel Train enthusiast and collector, a Veteran of the United States Army where he was a Military Policeman, and a member of the NRA.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Elizabeth (nee Bodnar) Johnson, his brother, Thomas Johnson and his nephew, Kenneth Johnson

Survivors include: his niece, Kristyn Michelle and her husband, Tom and their children, Giovanni, Rayne and Noah.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Thursday at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton, NJ. Funeral will be 9:45 am Friday from the funeral home and 10:30 am at Assumption RC Church, 143 First Street, Wood-Ridge, NJ. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ.
